Nylon Coating

Nylon-R is a coating system for metals which is based on a Nylon 11 polymer, due to its unique combination of properties, including remarkable abrasion resistance, flexibility, resistance to impact, weathering resistance and inertness to chemicals and solvents, Nylon 11 has an important place in your choice of coatings for manufactured steel products.

WARM TO TOUCH REGULATIONS

Part M of the Building Regulations, which deals with accessibility to buildings has a design recommendation that handrails should not be cold to touch and architects are increasingly specifying nylon coating, which if applied correctly, addresses this issue.

ABRASION RESISTANCE

Nylon-R has excellent abrasion resistance

ANTI-GRAFFITI

Nylon-R is unaffected by solvents meaning aerosols and felt tip pens can not penetrate the surface

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Nylon-R is a renewable resource, based on castor oil rather than petroleum
